State revenues are expected to grow, though at a slow rate the next two years, according to forecasts unveiled Wednesday. The State Budget Committee is giving Purdue the go-ahead for several building and maintenance projects. Seven projects were approved for the West Lafayette campus Wednesday. They range from utility tunnel repairs to construction of two multi-million dollar facilities. One of the larger projects is the nearly $40 million Vawter Field residence hall on Third Street between Russell Street and Jischke Drive.
