Nick Palmer leads the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra in its annual "Lollipop" concert Friday, February 9th at 7:00 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Lafayette. John Clare spoke with LSO Music Director Nick Palmer about the concert, which will feature Julie Baumann from Civic Theater of Lafayette in Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf.

WBAA's Greg Kostraba recently sat down with Nick Palmer, Music Director of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra to talk about the orchestra's "Shredding with the Symphony" concert, Saturday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Lafayette.

The Indiana Public Broadcasting Stations present the first of a series of monthly Lafayette Symphony broadcasts Sunday afternoon at 3 on WBAA Classical. Lafayette guitarist Chaconne Klaverenga will be featured in a Guitar Concerto composed especially for her by Dutch composer Rene Schiffer. The program also includes two of the Nocturnes for orchestra by Claude Debussy and the Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz.
