Holcomb Chooses State Auditor Crouch As Running Mate

Indiana Republican governor candidate Eric Holcomb says State Auditor Suzanne Crouch will be his running mate on the November ballot.

Holcomb, who in March was sworn in as lieutenant governor, was nominated this week by the Indiana Republican State Committee to run for governor after Pence accepted Donald Trump's invitation to run for U.S. Vice President.

Despite constant clashes with Governor Mike Pence over the last two years, State Superintendent Glenda Ritz says her decision to run for governor isn’t personal; it’s because of significant differences with Pence over how to move Indiana forward.  Ritz officially became the third person to enter the Democratic primary Thursday, calling herself the “best candidate” to beat the governor.

John Gregg says he wants the future of Indiana to resemble what’s being done in Lafayette.

The Democrat running for Governor came to the city Wednesday to discuss his vision for the state.

Gregg says pulling the state from the effects of the recession is dependent on improving the education system and having a more skilled workforce.
