President F. L. Hovde speaks on WBAA, March 2, 1954, discussing the developmental program of the university and how that will change over the next 10 years.

This is a recording of a WBAA program entitled Conversations. This program was recorded June 10, 1955 and features a discussion about university issues with WBAA manager Jim Miles and Purdue President Frederick L. Hovde.

This program features WBAA manager Jim Miles speaking with A. A. Potter, Dean Emeritus of the Engineering Schools. Dean Potter was one of the persons instrumental in the early growth of WBAA. This program was recorded May 14, 1956 at WBAA.

Interview with Dr. Lillian Gilbreth

Dr. Lillian Gilbreth was a psychologist and industrial engineer and for part of her career, a professor at Purdue University. In this interview from June 20, 1956, she talks about her career and her family. Two of her children wrote the book Cheaper by the Dozen, which was in 1950 made into the movie of the same name starring Myrna Loy and Clifton Webb. In 2003, a remake of the film starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt was released.

Miss Lella Gaddis talks about the history of the Indiana Home Demonstration project. She was the first state leader of Home Demonstration. The interview was recorded at WBAA on August 20, 1956.
