Murder at the Painted Lady

Murder At The Painted Lady updates the gothic romance genre while keeping the genre's roots….a single young woman, unencumbered by wealth inherits a decrepit old mansion in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks.  Dreaming of launching a bed and breakfast in the mansion to give direction to her life, our heroine is set upon by a cast of unwelcoming local folks, each of whom wants possession of the old mansion. Enter a handsome craftsman who offers to help fix up the old Queen Anne, add a couple new friends and the appearance of a mysterious, unseen visitor whose intentions portend an evil presence not at all pleased with our heroine and you have a gothic romance for the new century!
