WBAA completed its eighth and final day of Spring Member Drive fundraising on the same day the station celebrated 92 years of being on-air. WBAA also celebrated a record number of new members joining the station with 61 joining the station on Friday and 192 joining since the drive began!
WBAA would like to thank all new members as well as current members who together have donated a total of $118,806. In addition to paying for programming costs, WBAA will use donations generated throughout the Spring Member Drive to pay for part of the over $300,000 in technology and equipment updates and repairs needed at the station. WBAA had a goal of 225 new members and $215,000 and reminds listeners that it's not too late to send in a donation to help the station reach its goal. Contributions can be madeonlineanytime at wbaa.org.
