With a little more than a month and a half left before election day, Indiana campaigns are turning up the pressure to try and get the vote out.

But this year isn‘t offering many high-profile races to entice them.

Members of both parties are worried Indiana could even see some of the lowest voter turnout ever.

The May primaries only saw 13-percent of eligible voters show up at the polls, but the grassroots arm of some campaigns is working to correct that.

Scott Zarazee, an Indiana township republican chairman admits there are some small races on the ballot, but he says they are no less important.

"You need to have good candidates," Zarazee says. "You need to have good people who are serving those offices so that when you're out living your life and you're doing what you want to do, you don't have to worry about someone abusing an office or doing the wrong thing."

Meanwhile, Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is launching a $750,000 campaign to help boost the number of voters showing up this November.
