Purdue key in attracting business to IN

Six of the top 100 reasons for businesses to move to Indiana involve Purdue.

That’s according to a new report by The Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

The study found the university’s business school, its preparation of students for the workforce, international population, and supercomputer as attractive resources for companies considering locating in the state.

Katelyn Hancock with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation says the final list came from hundreds of suggestions.

The aspect of Purdue that ranked highest on the list is its Research Park.

It is the largest university-affiliated incubation complex in

the country and is considered the 22nd best reason for businesses to come to Indiana.
