Purdue grad students want their space

A group of Purdue students are discussing the need for their own center on the West Lafayette campus.

Graduate Student Government sent out a survey to its members Wednesday to see if such a space is needed. If there is, leaders want to know if using an existing building or creating a new one is the route to go.

PGSG President Rebecca Logsdon says from the responses she’s received so far, the idea is getting positive feedback.

She says they hope to get about 20% of the 7,600 graduate students to respond, and after after a few hours of the online survey going "live," there was a 5% response rate.

The survey will be available for two weeks.
