Jana Bibi's Excellent Fortunes

Jana Bibi has a choice; claim her inheritance and remain in her beloved India of 1960 or return to the cozy security of Scotland to live as a pensioner.  To our delight, Jana chooses joyful chaos over droll security; her inheritance, the Jolly Grant House, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains has worked its magic! A deftly drawn cast of characters explore the idiosyncrasies of mid 20th century India, a land with ancient and proud heritage yet quite a few colonial trappings.  A looming catastrophe to Jana’s new life appears midway through but our intrepid Jana scotches the threat with the help of friends old and new.
