Greater Lafayette Commerce is beginning the search for a new leader.
Current CEO Joseph Seaman is retiring at the end of the year, after more than seven years in the position.
During that time he oversaw the merger of several local organizations into one and adoption of the name, Greater Lafayette Commerce.
Seaman is currently overseeing implementation of the “From Good to Great” plan of community action and all economic development and quality-of-life activities.
A 13-member committee representing business, Purdue, and local government units, will undertake a national search to find a new president and CEO.
