Book Review: All The Presidents' Gardens

A memoir of the historical gardens of the White House has been released to ease the heat from this election year. From the first grasses of the residence to the newest additions from the Obama family, All The Presidents' Gardens encapsulates all the plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees that have graced the grounds of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Filled with colorful drawings, sepia photographs, and list after list of plants from each presidential era, this book captures the changes of American society as reflected in the White House gardens. West Lafayette Public Library Director Nick Schenkel has a review.
