Alaska Scientists Explore How Oil Industry Affects Migratory Birds

Each year, geese and other birds take refuge in Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve. Bust as oil companies see potential for drilling in the area, scientists are looking at whether industry activity will drive away migratory birds.
