Event Description

Bijin, Kabuki, and Sumo May 16 – August 4   Selections from Purdue University Galleries’ collection of 19th century woodblock prints will be on display in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Stewart Center from May 16 – August 4th. The exhibition features fine art prints by 10 Japanese printmakers, including works by celebrated artists Ando Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai. Research and descriptive information for each print are provided by Purdue’s Art History Student Organization (AHSO). All Purdue Gallery events are free & open to the public. Ringel Gallery is open Monday - Friday, noon - 5PM.
